Does anyone have experience with the Geek Squad?

My Compaq desktop that I purchased from Best Buy will not complete the boot sequence. Want to start again. So I went to the recovery of the PC and diagnostic test showed my hard drive has failed. I thought to take it to Best Buy, because that's where I bought it. I read some similar questions, but they were all asking questions about the laptop … almost everyone says that most geeks are not good because it was acquired by Best Buy, but I know of other relief-known computer store in west Houston, Texas Katy or region. Suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you have a bad HDD is a simple task to replace yourself. All you have to do is remove the side panel of the computer and connect the new album Hard as exactly identical to the previous (we're talking about a plug and plug an IDE cable) and only 2 cables to connect 2 connectors that can not be confused.
