Can I build a server with hardware and software?
I currently have the following hardware and software do I create a server with that and can run? Hardware: AMD 4000 + 2.4GHz Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe 2GB 400MHz RAM 2 Western Digital 1 TB SATA drives and the rest of the course (maps, video, optical drives, cooling) Hardware Software: Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 2 x86 I'll take my house, but the PC repair and build here and running 8 machines I just put these things and thought I could build a server instead of buying one and save some money. Does this work, please do not donkeys!
Ya dude that will, first what type of server being built, FTP, DHCP, mail client, backup, media sharing / hosting, web server, application server or general purpose server. Whatever the case, you can use what has a private server for everything you need, do technology spots all-purpose server
